Trump ordered Republicans to add the SAVE America elections bill ( S. 1383 ; BGOV Bill Analysis Bloomberg Terminal ) to a housing package ( H.R. 6644 ) slated for a House vote Wednesday and to a future bill to reauthorize US spy powers. But the House is planning to push ahead with the housing bill as-is, and Senate Republicans acknowledged the voter ID bill still doesn’t have enough support to pass in their chamber.
