The US firms, including First Solar , Qcells , Suniva and Talon PV , allege in a filing with the Department of Commerce that two companies are completing China-made solar equipment in Ethiopia. The petition calls for a country-wide trade inquiry as well. They said imports of Ethiopian solar products went from none through June 2025 to $300 million by December.
